New York Meets West Coast

Fashion is often a reflection of a designers environment and reflection on the world

Lissa Koo head designer of SAKU is exactly that - graduating from the New York fashion school Parsons College and running a York avenue boutique for 5 years she launched the brand SAKU

The motif for “saku” is both the chic New York sense and the easy, breezy West Coast atmosphere. While being a unique, never-seen-before style, “saku” offers clothes that are ready-to-wear and easily approachable by any one. In addition, pursuing both sportiness and femininity at the same time, “saku” showcases silhouette apparel that greatly emphasizes woman’s beauty along with comfortable fabrics that allow easy movement.

I was lucky enough to go backstage at this years NYFW and meet this remarkable designer - view my interview with Lissa and see her runway show here

I simply love how her designs are empowering and bold with a girly edge

Here I'm wearing her signature black outfit with amazing furry sleeves that I just loved !

I even run into some dear friends at the show - always great to see friendly and familiar NY faces!!
