Rolex Sydney to Hobart

eventsWhat a beautiful time of year it is in Hobart over New Years Eve - this harborside city literally comes alive with the annual Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race

I was lucky enough to attend it this year and meet some of the incredible and inspiring Saliors that make this race truly a world class event

In particular I want to thank Lisa Blair the first woman to circumnavigate Antartica solo and this year she put together an all women Sydney to Hobart Yacht team for the fist time in 16 years on her amazing boat Climate Action Now

Line honors this year was Comanche in 1st place and Wild Oats XI in second place

It was a tight and rather controversial finish - with it coming down to technicalities that finally declared LDV Comanche the overall winner

And then there was Ichi Ban who was declared the. overall winner of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia'a Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race 2017 winner!

I want to give a special thanks to the phenomenal Vale Denim for providing me with the most race worthy nautical attire any girl could ask for!
