Ano Korakiana - The Corfu Mountains

I recently took my little family to the stunning island of Corfu.

If you haven't been to Corfu yet then let this be your SIGN! It's truly beautiful with rolling hills that transport you to the countryside of Tuscany to the sea that is like no other. It is truly one of the most idyllic and fascinating islands I've ever visited.

We stayed in a stunning Airbnb villa in the mountain side in a little village called Ano Korakiana and it was truly everything and more to us. The perfect family size villa with spectacular views of the countryside and sea and equally stylish decor to compliment the environment.

Here are some of our most cherished moments in this mountain side villa.

One of my fave spots was this sunny terrace in the mornings with an incredible view!

Corfu is an island off Greece’s northwest coast in the Ionian Sea and once of its defining features is the rugged mountains.

Its cultural heritage reflects years spent under Venetian, French and British rule before it was united with Greece in 1864.

My daughter also loved the upstairs terrace too

Some of my aspects of the villa were simple yet beautiful decor

The villa had beautiful light inside and out

and beautiful smell of lavander throughout

The outside landscape was very much a part of the interior overall feel too

These French doors were a highlight too

We loved it so much we also dreamt of buying our own villa here too!

The kids loved the stairs a little too much :)

It's safe to say I felt very at home here

We are already planning our next trip back here :)
