I had the privilege of attending the Bonhams auction house and Vogue Gioiello magazine "Protagonists - a night of contemporary jewelry" private cocktail evening.

The night delivered endless sparkle and shine. As I entered the Madison Ave headquarters I was greeted with opulent works of art and an equally art loving crowd.

The night was to showcase the best in fine contemporary jewelry. Vogue Gioiello is renown for identifying and bringing the next best jewelry designers into the limelight by providing insight into jewelry trends from the worlds leading jewelry trail-blazers.

The decadent Bonhams space coudn't have provided a better home to showcase these exquisite jewels.

One particular jewelry designer Heidi Gardner at this event has a unique approach to jewelry design by almost flipping the aesthetic traditons on their head. Obsessed with the human anatomy and how jewelry truly decorates our bodies. Heidi is not only a truly amazingly talented jeweller but also a savvy business woman who is making a big impact on the jeweller community.

Here I can be seen wearing a gorgeous Alexi Freeman and Kate Rohde metal crystal bangle. These two Australian designers are also pushing the boundaries of contemporary jewelry. Check out their websites for endless inspiration.
