Germany is such a vast and often contrasting country - from the city streets to the majestic alps

It's safe to say Germany really does offer something for everyone

That's why on my recent stay in Munich I choose to stay at the Alpen Hotel

This 4 star hotel is nestled footsteps from main shopping districts but set aside in a rather residential street so you feel well like one of the locals

From the moment you step inside the hotel you're taken away to an enchanting and rather quaint world - one could easily think you were in an Alpen lodge in the Alps when in actual fact you're right in the heart of Munich

Here are some highlights from my recent stay - also safe to say it was one of the best organic buffet breakfasts that I've had on the trip! All locally sourced produce exclusively from renowned specialist suppliers in Munich and the surrounding regions of Upper Bavaria.

Also did I mention that Munich has the best and I mean the best nail salons in town - I loved my new baby blue nails that I got done just around the corner from the hotel

seriously I think I never want to leave this window seal!

I was literally in love with my practical yet stylish bag from Nothing by Charlotte Hartig - I always have the problem of when sightseeing having a practical bag that can carry my wallet, camera, makeup and well those unexpected purchases - this bag was able to carry all my essentials plus some - yes it made me one happy traveler!
