How does one map the world using embroidery? - other than what you might be thinking - an actual embroidery of a map - another way is to visualise a culture via fashion design. This is exactly what Francesca Liberatore did in her latest collection - I am lucky enough to follow her each year to an international fashion show and go backstage to interview this incredibly talented woman!

This year was no exception - I went to Milan Fashion Week and documented her latest collection that was inspired to her recent trip to with the UN to Pakistan.

The result a colourful array of velvets, silks and embroidery that will leave you dreaming of exotic lands and wanting to meander along unexplored streets wearing the exquisite Francesca Liberatore pieces.

Here are some highlights from her latest collection and watch my exclusive interview with Francesca backstage at MFW right here!

One of the best things about why job is finding extraordinary people and learning about their story - this was one gentleman I spotted in the crowd and he stood out to me - turns out he's a dear friend of Francesca's and one of her investors too!
