Dining 2 Hats Style
As you may already know I was recently lucky enough to experience the divine hospitality of Lake House Daylesford .
A stay at this iconic and relaxing location is not complete without experiencing their amazing Lake Daylesford restaurant too!
And just as the title of this blog post suggests it is a 2 hat restaurant, so we knew from the get-go that we were in the best culinary hands.
Additionally this restaurant is ideal for both lunch and dinner occasions and despite what your might be thinking in regards to a restaurant being only for adults, I can assure you it is also kid friendly - yes you heard right - you can now experience 1st class food in a gorgeous location with your kids too!
The restaurant is located on the shores of lake Daylesford within 6 acres of country gardens that also house the iconic hotel and spa.
The restaurant has also won multiple awards for it’s cellar and service.
Under the direction of Culinary Director Alla Wolf-Tasker AM, this is where you can truly experience Australian produce and their own Dairy Flat Farm provides much of the delicacies too!.
Diary Flat farm is a stunning 40 acre property located approx 10 minutes of the hotel and includes 5 acres of productive vegetable gardens - which supplies much of the Lake House Daylesford restaurant.
Here are some of the highlights from our recent dinner.
they even provided coloring books and entertainment for the kids!
The drinks were superb too!
Here was the menu
I ordered the chicken kiev for entree
My husband ordered the Sashimi
We both ordered the duck for main and the sauces were dreamy!
