In Austria the food is hearty and whilst I do love the Austrian cuisine, I do find it sometimes a little heavy, that is why when we choose to truly indulge in Viennese cuisine we often choose one of the most traditional and authentic Austrian restaurants and that is Plachutta We are lucky enough to have a Plachutta restaurant in our local neighbourhood but there are numerous locations throughout Vienna and my favourite one is in first district. It truly is the most magical time of the year! When you can finally reflect on your time together and in our case spend some quality time with our little ones. Whilst the holidays can also be filled with so many things to do and often toddlers that need much entertainment at home. It's important to stop and savor the moment and cherish the time. That's exactly what we did again this year and seeing the magic of Christmas in my children's eyes is always what makes it all worth
