hallelujah in the hamptons
It is not every day you get to experience musical genius Rufus Wainwright and acclaimed opera singer Renee Fleming perform a duet of Hallelujah together in the Hamptons!
This is exactly what happened last week and I was there first hand to meet both these exceptional singers in person and hear their incredibly performances.
It was to celebrate the first ever Hamptons Festival of the Arts.
Renée Fleming, in joint effort with IMG Artists and Barrett Wissman, hosted the 2016 Hamptons Festival of the Arts at the Parrish Art Museum.
Oh and Jack Nicholson decided to show up for this exclusive event at the Parrish Art Museum too!
Here is my exclusive interview with the dynamic duo
Jack showed up too!

My fave song Rufus sang was Montauk - very fitting since our location was also Montauk - here are the lyrics to this magnificent song!
One day you will come to Montauk and see your dad wearing a kimono and see your other dad pruning roses Hope you wont turn around and go One day you will come to Montauk and see your dad playing the piano and see your other dad wearing glasses Hope that you will want to stay for a while Don’t worry I know you’ll have to go One day you will come to Montauk and see your dad trying to be funny and see your other dad seeing through me Hope that you will protect your dad One day you will come to Montauk and see your dad trying to be evil and see your other dad feeling lonely Hope that you will protect him, and stay Don’t worry I know you’ll have to go One day years ago in Montauk lived a woman now a shadow There she does wait for us in the ocean And although we want to stay for a while Don’t worry we all have to go One day you will come to Montauk
eyes wide shut on the step and repeat :) #normal - well luckily the most important thing of the evening was to just close your eye and just listen to the magical sounds resounding throughout the Parrish Art Museum.
